All about men's spine tattoos
The back is that part of the body that allows you to apply almost any tattoo, especially when it comes to the dimensions of the sketch directly. More often men fill tattoos on their backs. Individual drawings or plot compositions always look spectacular, give the wearer brutality. But before getting a tattoo, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the pros and cons.
Advantages and disadvantages
Of all the areas on the back, the spine is the most common tattoo site. If a man chooses this place, then you need to familiarize yourself with the features of applying such a tattoo. The advantages are obvious:
- there is a lot of space on the back, so almost any sketch is available in size;
- it is not difficult for the master to work on this site;
- in the process of tattooing, it is convenient for the person himself to take a lying or sitting position;
- a tattoo placed on the back always looks impressive.
Disadvantages, albeit insignificant, are still there. They must be taken into account even at the stage of tattoo planning. The cons are as follows:
- men's tattoos on the back look attractive only if a person has pumped up muscles;
- if you make a tattoo along the spine, you will have to prepare for impressive pain;
- the tattoo is completely visible only if the man bare his torso.
It should also be borne in mind that the choice of a large sketch assumes a fairly long work of the wizard. The cost of a volumetric tattoo is appropriate.
Types and sketches of tattoos
If a man has definitely decided that he will tattoo on the spine, then he should start looking for the most suitable sketch. In order to have an idea of what can be stuffed on the spine, you should pay attention to the most popular sketches.
The most common in this case are the categories: animals, plants, inscriptions, plots from computer games.
Tattoo artists claim that men equally prefer both black and white and color drawings.
Sketches from the following categories are available for application to the spine.
- Hieroglyphs. The symbols of oriental writing are popular due to the fact that they remain understandable only to a narrow circle of people, and also fascinate with their unusual appearance. Hieroglyphs are a source of strength and energy - an integral part for any representative of the stronger sex. The options for applying hieroglyphs to the spine are presented in Figures 1 and 2.
- Predatory animals suitable for those men who have not only powerful energy, but also an explosive character. Such tattoos are often the personification of courage, strength, power and even audacity. Examples of the most successful works are presented in Figures 3 and 4.
- Steel arms it is also often stuffed along the spine. The owner of such a pattern is not afraid to overcome difficulties, and in the event of an attack, he is always ready to offer aggressive resistance. An example is in Figure 5. Sometimes, as an addition to such an image, one or another inscription is added.
- All kinds of ornaments. This category includes Slavic patterns, Polynesian and Celtic ornaments. At the same time, closed patterns speak of the cyclical nature of life, as well as the endless existence of the soul. So Slavic amulets can be applied, which perform a protective function against negative influences. An example of such sketches is shown in Figures 6 and 7.
- Reptile images are often pierced on the spine - lizards and snakes.
The most popular styles for tattooing on the spine are chikano, blackwork (performed mainly with black paint), trash (red and black shades), Celtic style, biomechanics, 3D, dotwork, minimalism, old school, tribal.
Nuances of application
As already mentioned, some areas of the spine are very painful. So, the upper part between the 7th cervical vertebra and the zone of the shoulder blades is a less sensitive area. If a man does not want to endure pain, then the tattoo needs to be filled right here. The area between the shoulder blades and lower back will be more sensitive. It is painful enough to get a tattoo in the area from the lower part of the lower back to the tailbone. A large number of nerve endings are concentrated here, and there is practically no fatty layer.
The most painful area is the spine itself. Here the bone tissue is very close, there are many nerve endings and thin skin.
Back tattoos are not only relevant, but also unpretentious to care for. They can simply be covered with a protective film, they become covered with clothing and heal relatively quickly. The only restrictions that are imposed are that you cannot sleep on your back for a while and intensively wash the tattoo site.
