The use of backlit stretch ceilings in the bedroom has a number of advantages:

The design of these structures in the bedroom is not limited. They can have a different number of levels, like the combined type of lighting. However, along with the advantages, backlit stretch ceilings have several disadvantages. The key ones are:

• deformation of the panels after the flood from the upper apartments;
• poor film quality for counterfeit products;
• sagging of the material when arranging ceilings in overall rooms;
• low environmental friendliness and the need for high-quality ventilation;
• reducing the height of the walls (in the case of fastening to the crate);
• the need for a heat gun when pulling on the frame;
• lack of maintainability in the event of a rupture.

Creation of complex structures with built-in lighting is within the power of professionals. When cutting out the canvas, the utmost precision is needed: if you cut too much, the film will have to be thrown out.

The choice of lighting for tensioning structures is related to the texture of the used film. With an incorrectly selected luminaire, you can overload the ceiling space with glare from light sources. For example, this is especially important when choosing a backlight for stretch film with photo printing.

Often, when arranging stretch ceilings in the bedroom, lighting devices in the form of LED panels are used. At their base is a group of diodes. From above they are covered with matte plexiglass. Such lamps often replace traditional chandeliers.

Depending on the design of the ceiling, the tape can be combined with a chandelier or LED panel.

The ribbon can be single or multi-colored. This allows you to change the atmosphere of the bedroom at your own discretion. The flexible luminaire can be mounted not only linearly, but also in the form of curved lines, repeating the contours of the figures at various levels of the ceiling structure. This technique is used when arranging combined-type ceilings, in which the film is combined with drywall.

In addition to central lighting, when arranging stretch ceilings with illumination in the bedroom, it is possible to organize the illumination of the panel with spotlights (for example, spotlights). These types of backlighting are distinguished by their small size and direct direction of the luminous flux. When used along the entire perimeter of the ceiling, they can replace the central luminaire.

They are good at changing the direction of the light flux. Moreover, their arrangement is usually linear. Spot lighting of the ceiling is used for filling light, accentuating certain areas of the room, emphasizing the division into separate functional zones.

The backlighting of the stretch fabric can change the mood of the interior, accentuate the advantages of the room and hide the shortcomings of the room layout. The classic modern lighting scheme for a bedroom with a stretch ceiling involves the use of three light lines:

• overhead light is considered fill;
• wall lamps are placed along the middle line;
• bottom lighting involves the use of floor lamps or table lamps.

Insufficient ceiling lighting will make the bedroom uncomfortable. By means of ceiling lighting, it is necessary to visually ennoble the room (make it more spacious, equalize the proportions).
